Mon Petit Poulet’s story began with Le Coq Express, which opened its doors back in 1988. Over the years, thousands of clients flocked to its doors to indulge in savory roasted chicken, no doubt a favorite amongst Quebecers. Here, rotisserie chicken is our passion!
Mon Petit Poulet is a rotisserie and artisanal snack bar in the charming neighborhood of Rosemont. We prepare authentic dishes using only the best quality ingredients. Our focus is on emphasizing the elements that define a classic and memorable meal.

Sue’s introduction to the restaurant industry came at the age of 13 in, ironically, a rotisserie in St-Alphonse de Rodriguez. Shortly thereafter, Sue moved to Montreal to begin her studies at the Tourism and Hospitality Institute of Quebec. Her thirst for adrenaline eventually led her to Provence, where she took part in various cooking competitions. Having explored an impressive variety of cuisines over the years, Sue came to realize that her true passion is to revisit classic dishes and to make them her own, to prepare unpretentious meals bursting with flavor, using only top quality ingredients.
David B. Rovny
David is a restaurant industry veteran, with over 24 years experience. Having worked the same kitchens as renowned chef Claude Pelletier (Cube, Club Chasse & Pêche), and within Montreal institutions Buonanotte and Leméac, David always saught to feed his curiosity and satiate his desire to provide consistently good food and service. At only 24 years of age, he opened MeatMarket restaurant, which quickly became a staple on Montreal’s Saint-Laurent Boulevard. With the opening of Mon Petit Poulet, David will introduce Montrealers to his Montreal-style Adobo chicken!
